This post is going to rushed but I’m still shaking and it’s hard to type but I NEED people to know this
My mom just took my dog to the vet
She(my dog) was(still is?) having a seizure
Last month we took my dog to the vet and they told us she had developed diabetes, they told us it was caused by the food she was eating, purina beneful.
They told us that there have been many many many reports of Beneful has been causing diabetes, seizures, and even death in dogs.
We had no idea
We immediately switched her food and put her on a special diet plan for her diabetes, unfortunately the effects were already permeate.
Today at 11:20 my mom woke me up crying, I helped her carry my dog to the car (while she was still having a seizure) and watched her drive away red faced and still crying.
Please please PLEASE if you are feeding your pets Purina beneful PLEASE switch their food ASAP
Beneful is poising dogs and I don’t want anyone else to experience what I just did

hi. im gonna shorten this down, because i really dont want to ramble
my father was diagnosed with kidney cancer. we dont know how far it is. we’ve been told that maybe its in its early stages, but they also still dont know if it’s spread to any other parts of his body. heres a photo of me and him!!!
he will be going into surgery next month [february 2nd?] along with multiple days in the next weeks coming up to feb. where he will not in work because he is still doing more blood tests and ct scans
this means he’s missing alot of work and we most likely wont have enough money for food for a week or so. we have enough food for the next weeks, but me and my father both know we wont be eating much when this surgery happens. i dont have a job either even after applying for a lot after i started applying for a few in late november
so basically i really hate to ask but if you can donate me money for food i would be forever grateful, because i really have no way to make money whatsoever other than online. if you dont wanna donate without getting something back, i can draw you something. here’s my art tag. talk to me privately if you want that.
I also need to save up a emergency fund for myself incase my father dies of cancer or in surgery. I fear both of these because my uncle had died in the middle of a surgery. If he dies, I risk either moving into my Aunt’s abusive household in marpole, or I risk going homeless. I cannot go back to my aunt’s place again.

hi i hate to be adding onto this but i found out that i most likely wont be able to purchase groceries [which would be cheaper but walmart doesn’t take paypal for grocery delivery, and i do not have a debit or bank account. nor can i purchase a visa gc] which means ill be having to order take out instead [since lazymeal takes paypal]
which means that my originally planned $111.69 [excluding fees for visa gc fees] will be ramped up to a $290+ [CAD] ($40 a day for 7 days, extra might be needed but im unsure] which im really upset about cause i really dont like begging for high amounts of money but its detrimental to me and my father’s health
i only have $45 right now [thank you to all the people who’ve donated so far!], we’re getting there and i really hope i can get there especially for the sake of my fathers health..!
